Terms & Conditions
- While we
hope you enjoy your experience, we must draw your attention
to the following information:
From herein:
The person hiring the services of Berkshire Limos will be
referred to as the “Client.”
Berkshire Limos will be referred to as the “Company.”
The services of Berkshire limos will be referred to as the
“booking.”
A deposit of £50 (full payment if within 7 days) is
required when confirming your booking.
A deposit of £100 (full payment if within 30 days) is
required for weddings.
A refund (less £50 deposit) will only be given if a
cancellation is received in writing more than 14 days
prior to the hire.
A refund (less £100 deposit) will only be given if a
cancellation is received in writing more than 28 days
prior to the wedding hire.
- The client
is liable for full payment of any balances 7 days prior to
their event
- The booking
is accepted based on the times and itinerary stated on the
booking confirmation. We may invoice the client for
additional time at our standard hourly rate, currently £60.00
per hour or part thereof.
- For the
consideration of other clients, passengers are NOT
permitted by law to smoke in any of our vehicles. Smoking
inside a vehicle will incur a £75.00 charge.
- The
company does not permit the taking of any illegal substances
or partaking of any illegal activities whilst in the
vehicle, failure to abide by this condition will result in
the immediate termination of the hire without compensation.
The client expressly accepts
that except in cases of an emergency, only the chauffeur may
open and close doors, this is a safety precaution to
minimise the risk of accidents and damage to the vehicle.
The company will not be held responsible for accidents
caused as a consequence of the client or his/her party
failing to adhere to this condition and the client accepts
full responsibility for any damage to the vehicle and or any
third party as a result of the client or client’s party
failing to adhere to this condition.
- The client
is fully responsible for the conduct of all passengers and
is liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the
vehicle by the client or a member of his or her party,
howsoever caused. This includes incitement or behaviour
resulting in damage to the vehicle or its contents by a
third party. The client expressly agrees to be held liable
for the retail cost of any repair as a consequence of any
damage caused. The client further agrees that the company
may at its entire discretion determine the company who will
affect the repairs. Furthermore, the client shall be
responsible for payment of a fixed rate, which shall be
determined by the company, at its sole discretion for the
period during which the vehicle cannot be used as a
consequence of said damage and repairs. That
notwithstanding, the client shall also be responsible for
any further losses, which are incurred as a result of lost
bookings.
- The client
is responsible for the conduct of all passengers. We
reserve the right to invoice or to charge any payment card
of the clients for any repairs, replacements, or valeting
costs arising from damage or soiling to the vehicle or its
fixtures caused by the client or passengers. Daily hire
charges are £500.00 per day plus valeting costs @ £150.00
and the cost of replacement parts and labour.
- Where the
company supplies complimentary drinks, these must be
consumed inside the vehicle and may not be removed for any
reason whatsoever. In the event that drinks are removed,
then the company may at its sole discretion, recover the
replacement cost from the client. The company does
not allow red wine to
be consumed in the vehicle at any time owing to the
potential damage to the interior as a consequence of
spillage. The consumption of red wine in the vehicle will
incur a valeting charge of £75.00 plus replacement of any
fabric or upholstery and labour charges.
- Chewing Gum
may not be consumed inside any vehicle.
- The driver
may refuse to transport passengers or luggage if the vehicle
is overloaded and may terminate the booking if the client or
passengers cause excessive delays, are disorderly or, in the
drivers judgement, are unfit to travel.
- Passengers
are required to wear seat
belts
where fitted
- In the
unlikely event that we are unable to complete the booking
for reasons beyond our control a full refund given. Beyond
this the company will not be liable.
- The company
does however reserve the right to provide another vehicle of
a similar description to complete a booking.
- Although we
will endeavour to meet deadlines The Company accepts no
responsibility for any delays, however caused.
- No
responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to
vehicle access at any location.
- Although we
will take every care, no responsibility will be accepted for
any loss or damage to luggage or personal property.
- The
copyright of any photographs taken by company drivers will
remain the property of the company and may be used for
promotional & marketing purposes, if you do not wish
your images to be used please notify us in writing by letter
or email stating the name & date of your booking.
- Where
complimentary photographs are offered these will be taken
when available to do so, and are subject to relevant weather
conditions, no charge is made for the initial complimentary
photograph, failure on the companies behalf to provide a
photograph does not alter any quote/payment made.
- That’s the
formalities out of the way, now go ahead and enjoy
yourselves.
